Step 1: Visit Trezor.io/Start

To begin, open your browser and go to https://trezor.io/start. This is the official starting point for all Trezor devices. Make sure you are on the correct website to avoid phishing scams.

Step 2: Connect Your Device

Unbox your Trezor device and connect it to your computer using the USB cable provided. You’ll be prompted to install the Trezor Suite—Trezor's official desktop application for managing your wallet.

Step 3: Install Firmware

Upon first use, your device may not have firmware installed. Follow the on-screen instructions in Trezor Suite to install the latest secure firmware. This step ensures your device is authentic and safe to use.

Step 4: Create or Recover Wallet

After firmware installation, you can choose to create a new wallet or recover an existing one using your recovery seed. If creating a new wallet, Trezor will generate a unique 12- to 24-word recovery phrase. Write this down and store it safely offline.

Step 5: Secure Your Wallet

Set a strong PIN on your device. This adds an extra layer of protection. Never share your PIN or recovery phrase with anyone. Trezor will never ask for your seed phrase online.

Step 6: Start Managing Your Crypto
